I started making jewelry in 2005. At first, it was a creative outlet that allowed me to have the perfect accessory for an outfit, or give a special gift to family and friends. Before long, friends asked if they could buy my jewelry, requesting custom designs. Often I was asked, "Can you make me a necklace like the one you are wearing?" After a stranger in Old Navy asked me where I bought the necklace I was wearing, I realized it was time to start Silver Creek Designs. My designs have a southwestern flair as I use a lot of turquoise and silver; however, I love to experiment with different materials. My designs and personal style continue to evolve.
